There's now a more effective option available.
We may be a young company however we have a wealth of experience. As a small, independent team we don’t have large corporate overheads & bureaucracy to hold us back. We’re easy to do business with, with agility and responsiveness at heart. We offer straight forward, flexible contract terms, an excellent availability warranty and we don’t employ contractual tricks to tie you up.
WS Wind Services Ltd is already big enough to cope with long-term multi-turbine, multi-site contracts and is growing steadily in line with our increasing customer demand and their asset base. We are currently maintaining and servicing more than 20 wind turbines and some other generating assets across the UK. The WS team has considerable experience of long term wind turbine care. The company already carries over £250k+ in selected otherwise long-lead parts.
Thousands
of new turbine installations in the last 25 years
The wind industry has moved rapidly through its development phases in the last 25 years with thousands of installations of all sizes in all circumstances.
We’ll look after your turbine as if it were our own & always go the extra mile to deliver an excellent value service. When on site we’ll always do as much as possible & if we see anything else which could be done, we’ll tell you – giving you the choice to have as much done as possible cost effectively.
Heads of Terms For Your Service & Maintenance Contract
WS Wind Services maintenance and service offer has been developed thanks to our long experience and learning as the wind turbine industry has matured. The following are the key improvements our maintenance and service offer delivers;
- Highly competitive annual fees.
- A considerable reduction in component failure risk. Your current contract probably has an increasing component cost risk as your turbine ages which WS Wind Services will not employ. Our philosophy is based on enhanced monitoring and we adopt ‘a stitch in time’ approach to maintenance.
- Long term service contracts from WS Wind show our commitment & offer long term certainty for you. We expect you to stick with us based on results.
- Easy exit from the service contract if you wish to go elsewhere. If we’re not performing & you believe somebody else can do the job better you won’t have to stay with us.
- You need good service contract delivery to ensure your insurance is maintained. We have developed our record keeping and warranties based on our many years experience of wind turbine insurance.
- No benefit sharing payments. We do expect to exceed the availability warranty we offer but we don’t expect to be paid more when we do.
- At 97% the availability guarantee from WS Wind is higher than the industry norm. We back that with 100% of your annual fee.
- WS Wind Services can give the higher availability warranty and the financial backing because long experience over many years has given us the understanding of how long components really last in different conditions.
- WS Wind Services aim to have every replacement part in stock ready for when it is needed. We have Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) agreement with EWT for all parts.
- The wind industry has evolved over the last 25 years and there are now many more and better quality parts available. WS Wind Services has a growing list of manufacturers of all parts of the wind turbine. These are not cheaper copy parts, these are parts from original manufacturers before they are bought by turbine brands.
